- What is BrandedRooms? BrandedRooms is a branded meeting room: a web page with your logo, colours and navigation that hosts your video meeting inside it. Guests wait in a lobby that says you will be joining shortly, the meeting starts on the page when you press Start the room, every guest is captured into your CRM, and you can fire celebration effects on every guest's screen.
- Who is BrandedRooms for? Companies running all-hands, sales kickoffs, client webinars, training and launches — and coaches, creators and small businesses running masterclasses, community calls and celebrations. Anyone who wants their important meetings to happen on their own page instead of a plain meeting link.
- How does a branded meeting room work? Three steps: connect the meeting account you already use, dress your room with your logo, colours and offers, then open the doors. Guests enter their first name and email, wait in your branded lobby, and are let in together when you start the room.
- Do guests need to download anything? No. Guests join in the browser, right on your room page. Anyone who prefers the meeting app can still use the regular link.
- Who sees the celebration effects? Everyone on your room page sees and hears them at the same moment — confetti, crystals, rockets, applause and sounds, fired by the host. People who joined through the meeting app directly don't see them.
- Are the effects in the meeting recording? No. Effects play over the meeting on the room page, so the meeting platform's own recording doesn't include them. To keep them in a replay, screen-record the room page.
- Who owns my guests' details? You do. Guest names and emails go to you and the tools you connect — never sold and never shared with other customers.
- What does BrandedRooms collect from guests? First name and email at the door, plus the event they joined. Whether email is required is your choice per room; requiring it is what powers your follow-up.
- Do I need my own meeting account? Yes. You bring the meeting account and licence you already have; BrandedRooms hosts that meeting on your page. Your settings, your recordings, your plan — billed by your meeting provider, not by us.
- How many people can join a room? Everyone inside your room counts toward your meeting licence's participant limit — commonly 100, 300, 500 or 1,000. Your room warns you as you approach it. For bigger audiences, add a large-meeting or webinar licence or run an overflow livestream.
- Do I need a meeting passcode? Your meeting needs a passcode or a waiting room. We recommend keeping the passcode on and saving it in your room settings — guests never type it, the room passes it for them — and turning the platform's own waiting room off, because your branded lobby does that job.
- Why do guests see “meeting has not started”? Your guests are waiting for the host to start the meeting. With your meeting account connected, the Go Live button in your dashboard starts the meeting as host inside the page and opens the doors in one press. Without the connection, the host has to start the meeting in the meeting app first.
- Do I need the desktop meeting app to host a branded room? No. BrandedRooms is self-contained: after a one-time connection of your meeting account, you host from your own dashboard — your video, host controls and party controls in one place, with no second window.
- Which meeting platform does BrandedRooms work with? BrandedRooms hosts meetings you run on Zoom, using your own Zoom account and licence through Zoom's Meeting SDK. You bring the account; BrandedRooms never resells it. BrandedRooms is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zoom Communications, Inc. (formerly Zoom Video Communications, Inc.).
- How much does BrandedRooms cost? Every account starts with a free 30-day trial of the Generic Room — no credit card required. After that: Generic Room $99 a month, Branded Room $499 a month, and Custom Deluxe $1,499 a month (fully branded with your own command center, logo burst and party music; 5 custom party features included — each your own effect, image and sound — with more at $99 a month each).
- Is there a free trial? Yes. Every account gets 30 days of the Generic Room free, with no credit card. When the trial ends your room stops opening for guests until you choose a plan — your settings and guest data are kept.
- Can I cancel a Branded Room? Yes. Plans are monthly and can be cancelled any time from your account; your plan's features stay on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Does BrandedRooms resell meeting licences? No. Your meeting plan is billed by your meeting provider. BrandedRooms only bills for rooms.
- What is Custom Deluxe? Custom Deluxe is BrandedRooms fully branded to your business: your own back office and command center with the big green Go Live button, your logo bursting over the meeting, your own party music and effects, and 5 custom party features included (effect, image and sound each). Single sign-on is on the roadmap; we don't claim certifications we don't hold.
