Privacy policy

Summary

We collect what we need to run your account and your rooms. Guest details collected in your room belong to you; we process them on your behalf. We never sell personal data.

What we collect from customers

• Account details: name, email, phone, company, and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Room settings: room name and address, brand assets, meeting connection details. App secrets and passcodes are encrypted at rest and only ever shown masked.
• Billing: handled by Stripe; we receive your plan, status and a customer reference, never your full card number.
• Usage: pages visited, forms submitted and onboarding steps, so we can support you and improve the product.

Guest data in your rooms

When a guest enters your room they give a first name and, if you require it, an email address, plus the event they joined. That data belongs to you, the host. We store and process it on your behalf to run the room and to send it to the tools you connect. We do not use your guests' details for our own marketing and never share them with other customers.

How we use data

• To provide, secure and support the service.
• To send account and transactional messages (sign-in links, receipts, room status).
• With your consent, to send product news and tips by email through our email service provider. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we send no more than one marketing email a day.
• To tell you, where you opted in, about other products from the R0cketShip network.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run BrandedRooms — hosting, our email service provider, Stripe for payments, spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) — under contracts that limit their use of the data. We may also disclose data where the law requires. We never sell personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms from spam, and limited analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser; signing in requires the essential ones.

Retention and security

We keep account data while your account is open and for a reasonable period after, as the law requires. We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords and encrypt secrets at rest.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Guests should contact the room's host about their data; we will help hosts respond. Contact us through brandedrooms.com/contact.
