Terms of service

1. Who we are

BrandedRooms (“we”, “us”) provides branded meeting rooms: web pages that host video meetings you run on your own meeting account. These terms are an agreement between you (the account holder, or the company you act for) and BrandedRooms. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account and for anyone you let use it. Tell us promptly at the contact page if you think your account has been misused.

3. Your meeting account

BrandedRooms hosts meetings that run on your own meeting platform account and licence. That account is governed by your agreement with your meeting provider, who bills you for it. We never resell meeting licences and are not responsible for your meeting provider's service, limits or outages.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Every account starts with a free 30-day trial of the Generic Room; no credit card is required. When the trial ends, your room stops opening for guests until you choose a paid plan — your settings and data are kept. Paid plans are billed per room, monthly or yearly, in advance, through our payment processor Stripe. Larger rollouts may be set out in a separate order or quote. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

You can cancel a paid room at any time from your account; it stays on its paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, after which the room stops opening for guests. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Promo codes apply as stated when you redeem them.

5. Service status

Some features are being rolled out in stages. Your account shows what is available to you today. We describe what the service does honestly and will tell you when new capabilities, including the hosted room engine, become available to your room.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use BrandedRooms to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, collect data without a lawful basis, impersonate others, distribute malware, or interfere with the service. Don't use another company's name or logo in your room without the right to do so.

We may suspend rooms that breach these terms, with notice where practical.

7. Your content and guest data

You keep all rights to your logos, offers and content, and you own the guest details your room collects. You give us the permission we need to host and display your content and to process guest data on your behalf to run your room. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any notices or consents needed to collect and use guest details, including for marketing.

8. Our service

BrandedRooms, its software, design and brand belong to us. We may improve or change the service; if we remove a material paid feature, we will tell you in advance.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may end these terms if you materially breach them. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, liability, governing law) continue after the account closes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and disputes will be heard in the courts located in Collin County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
