How referring BrandedRooms works
Random Income connects brand partners, businesses with offers, with Strategic Partners: professionals who already have jobs, income and networks and refer on the side. BrandedRooms is one of the products in the R0cketShip stack that partners can refer.
The partner's job is the introduction. You know a coach who runs masterclasses on a bare meeting link, an agency that produces client webinars, or a company whose all-hands still opens in a plain window. You point them to BrandedRooms through your Random Income partner link. From there, Random Income handles the follow-up, the proposal, delivery and support, so you are never asked to set up rooms, answer technical questions or chase invoices.
That division of labour matters. Partners keep their day jobs and their reputations; they recommend something they think fits, and the people who run the program do the rest.
Who BrandedRooms is easy to refer to
The best referrals come from listening for a specific moment. These are the ones worth noticing.
- Coaches, consultants and course creators who host masterclasses, group coaching or community calls and want their brand, not a bare link, at the front door.
- Agencies that run launches, webinars and events for clients and want each event in the client's brand.
- Internal communications, people and sales enablement teams running all-hands, town halls, onboarding and sales kickoffs.
- Authors, speakers, nonprofits and churches hosting launches, fundraisers, services or celebrations online.
- Anyone who has said the words: our webinar link looks nothing like us, or we never know who actually attended.
What you are referring
Know the product well enough to describe it honestly in a sentence or two. BrandedRooms puts a video meeting inside the host's own branded web page, on the meeting account they already use. Guests wait in a branded lobby with a countdown, the meeting starts for everyone when the host presses Start the room, live effects play on every screen at once, and every guest leaves a first name and email at the door.
The pricing is simple to explain. Every client starts with a free 30-day trial, no card. After that, the Generic Room is $99 a month and keeps the room with guest capture, the standard effects pack and the attendee list. The Branded Room is $499 a month and adds the host's own branding and domain, the offers rail, CRM and email hookups and follow-up funnels. Custom Deluxe is $1,499 a month: fully branded, with its own Go Live command center, five custom party features where the client picks the effect, the image and the sound, and priority support. Single sign-on, multiple rooms and white-label are on request, quoted by the team. The trial has nothing to pay, so commission applies only to what a client actually pays.
The Random Income program terms
These are the Random Income program terms for partners referring BrandedRooms. The full and current terms live on randomincome.com, and they govern if anything here differs.
- 20% of retail when the client buys online, untouched, through your partner link.
- 12% of retail when an in-house Random Income rep has to work the deal.
- $19.80 a month online, or $11.88 a month with an in-house rep, on the Generic Room at $99 a month.
- $99.80 a month online, or $59.88 a month with an in-house rep, on the Branded Room at $499 a month.
- $299.80 a month online, or $179.88 a month with an in-house rep, on Custom Deluxe at $1,499 a month.
- Paid on the 21st of the month after Random Income is paid by the client.
- Paid once your balance is at least $500; until then it carries forward.
- Payout requires ID and a W-9, and Random Income issues a 1099-NEC.
- Partners are 1099 independent contractors, never employees, and are responsible for their own taxes.
Referring honestly
A referral is only as good as the trust behind it, so keep introductions accurate. Describe what the room does today, and say that single sign-on, multiple rooms and white-label are on request and quoted rather than switched on by default. Mention the honest limits if they come up: the host's meeting licence sets how many people can attend, effects are not in the meeting platform's recording, and guests who join through the desktop app see the regular meeting rather than the room page. Do not suggest that BrandedRooms is made by, part of or endorsed by any meeting platform company; it is an independent product.
And never promise results, to clients or to yourself. A room improves the experience of an event; the host's offer and audience still decide what sells. Partner earnings depend on who you know, how well the product fits them and whether they buy, and results vary from partner to partner. Random Income does not promise any level of income.
A simple introduction you can adapt
Short and specific beats a pitch. Something like this works by message or email: I noticed your masterclass link opens a plain meeting window. There is a product called BrandedRooms that puts the meeting inside your own branded page, with a lobby, your offer beside the meeting and every guest's details captured at the door. There is a free 30-day trial, no card, if you want to try it. Here is the link.
If they are interested, that is the end of your part. Random Income follows up, answers questions and, for larger company or agency setups, brings in the team that scopes on-request work.
Getting started
Becoming a partner happens through randomincome.com, where you create your account, review the full program terms and get your partner link. Once you have it, use that link whenever you introduce BrandedRooms, so the referral is credited to you. If you are also curious about the rest of the stack, the network page explains each product.
A good first step is to start a free 30-day trial yourself, no card, and run a test event with a friend. Seeing the lobby, the start and the effects from a guest's seat makes it far easier to describe the room in your own words, and to spot which of the people you know would actually want one.
