How cancelling works
A Branded Room is billed monthly, at $499 a month. When you cancel, you are not charged for the next month, and you keep everything you paid for until the current period ends: your branding, your domain, the offers rail, effects, the attendee list, integrations and follow-up funnels. If you have an event booked before that date, it runs as planned.
There is no minimum term on a monthly plan. You can move up to a Branded Room for a launch month and cancel after the launch if that is what the business needs. The Generic Room and Custom Deluxe work the same way month to month.
Before you cancel: a short checklist
Cancelling is simple, but a few minutes of housekeeping first saves you hunting for things later.
- Export your guest list as a CSV file, so you have every name and email from your events.
- Check that guests sent to your CRM or email tool arrived with the right tags.
- Note when your follow-up funnels finish, and move any that should keep running into your email tool.
- If the room runs on your own domain, decide what that address should point to after the period ends.
- Tell anyone who shares the link, such as a co-host or assistant, so nobody sends guests to it by habit.
Your data stays yours
The guests you welcomed belong to you. Cancelling does not hand your list to anyone else; BrandedRooms does not sell guest details or share them with other customers. Export what you need while the room is active, so you are never relying on memory for who came to which event.
The trial, annual billing and quoted plans
The free 30-day trial needs no credit card, so nothing is charged when it ends; you simply choose a plan or let it close. If you are on annual billing or a plan quoted by our team, the terms you agreed set how cancellation works, so check them or ask us. We would rather you know exactly where you stand before you commit, which is why we say ask about annual billing instead of printing terms here that might not match your agreement.
Coming back for the next big event
Plenty of hosts work in seasons: a launch in spring, a summit in autumn, a celebration at year end. If that is you, cancelling between seasons is a perfectly sensible way to run a room. When the next event is on the calendar, restart a few weeks before, check your branding and offers are current, and run a fresh test on a second device. Starting early gives your custom domain and integrations time to settle before the invitations go out.
Your meeting account is separate
Cancelling does not change your meeting account or licence. Those are billed by your meeting provider, and BrandedRooms never resells them. The developer app you created to connect the room also lives in your meeting account. If you are leaving for good, delete that app or remove its keys to end the connection cleanly. If you might come back, leaving it in place makes starting again a matter of minutes.
