What the brand kit covers
The brand kit dresses everything on the room page that sits around the meeting. Guests notice it in the first second, before anyone has spoken.
- Your logo at the top of the page and in the waiting room.
- Your colours across the page, the buttons, the lobby and the offers rail.
- Your fonts for headings and text, so the room reads like your website and your emails.
- Your navigation around the meeting, so guests can still find your other pages without leaving the room.
- Your waiting room message and host name, presented in your style instead of the BrandedRooms style.
- The offers rail, buttons and links styled to match, so every part of the page belongs to the same family.
Why branding the room matters
Most video meetings look identical. A company's annual kickoff and a dentist's appointment open the same plain window. That sameness is fine for everyday calls, but it is a missed opportunity on the days when the meeting is the product: the launch, the masterclass, the client briefing, the celebration.
A branded room puts your identity around the moment. For a company, that means consistency: the all-hands looks like the intranet, the customer webinar looks like the website, and nobody wonders whether a link is genuine. For a coach, creator or small business, it means the audience spends an hour inside your brand, with your offers alongside, instead of inside someone else's interface. Either way the meeting stays the same; what changes is everything a guest sees around it.
Branding also helps guests find their way. A clear logo and familiar colours tell someone who has three meetings open that this tab is your event, and the navigation lets them reach your other pages after the meeting without searching for your website.
Preparing your brand kit
Gather these before you sit down to set up the room. Most of them already exist in your website or marketing files.
- Your logo in a clear, high-resolution format, ideally with a version that works on a light background and one that works on a dark background.
- Your primary brand colour, a secondary colour and a neutral background colour, as the exact colour codes your designer uses.
- Your heading and body fonts, or the closest web-safe alternatives if your brand fonts are licensed for print only.
- The links you want in the room's navigation, kept short: home, programmes or products, contact.
- Your waiting room wording, written in your brand's voice.
Design choices that work
A room is not a website homepage. Guests are there to watch and listen, so the brand should frame the meeting rather than compete with it.
Keep contrast high. Text and buttons need to be easy to read on a laptop in a bright room and on a phone on a train, so test your colours together, not one at a time. Give the meeting the space. Resist adding banners or busy backgrounds around the video; the logo, the colours and a tidy rail say enough. Let one colour do the calling. Use your strongest brand colour for the main action, such as the join button or the featured offer, and keep everything else quieter. And check the logo against your backgrounds: if your room uses a dark brand colour anywhere, make sure the logo you upload still reads clearly on it.
Finally, think about the people who will see the room most. A company room seen by employees every month can afford to be quiet and familiar. A launch room seen once by a crowd of strangers should introduce the brand with confidence. Both are the same kit, set up with a different audience in mind.
Examples by use case
The same kit adapts to very different rooms.
- Sales kickoff: the company logo and campaign colours for the year's theme, with the agenda and the new playbook in the rail.
- Client webinar: the vendor's own brand, calm and professional, with a demo request beside the meeting.
- Masterclass: a creator's colours and fonts matched to their course site, so the free session and the paid programme feel like one family.
- Business birthday: the anniversary version of the logo and celebration colours, ready for confetti.
- Association member call: the association's crest and colours, with membership renewal in the rail.
- Agency client event: the client's brand throughout, on the client's subdomain.
Which tier includes it
On the free 30-day trial and the Generic Room, the room page and waiting room appear in the BrandedRooms style, showing your host name and event. It is clean and welcoming, and it is our look rather than yours.
The brand kit comes with the Branded Room plan. Pair it with a custom domain and the room looks entirely like your own. Custom Deluxe takes it further: a room fully branded to the business, with its own Go Live command center, a logo burst, and custom music and effects. White-label for agencies and multiple branded rooms under one account are available through our team, scoped and quoted.
Honest limits
The brand kit styles the page around the meeting. The meeting window itself, with its video tiles, controls and screen share, is your meeting platform's own interface, and its look is set by the platform rather than by your brand kit. Your brand frames the meeting; it does not repaint it.
Guests who join with the regular meeting link in their desktop app see the platform's app, not your room, so they will not see your branding at all. Share the room link everywhere. And brand assets are only as good as the files you upload: a blurry logo stays blurry, so start with the best version you have.
